The Phil Simon Clinic and Huntington Hospital hosted a preview performance of “Safari of Hope” by the children of Creative Planet School of Arts (CPSOA) in the Braun Auditorium. The performance included traditional and contemporary Tanzanian music, dance and song as well as a narrative by the children of the devastation of HIV/AIDS in Africa. The performance showed the passion and compassion of all the children involved in The Phil Simon Clinic Tanzania Project and CPSOA and was enthusiastically received. The premier performance of “Safari of Hope” will take place January 10 at the Baldwin Park Performing Arts Center. Tickets may be obtained by contacting Creative Planet at (626) 856-1710.
